Mr. Rubin was born in Boyle Heights, east of Downtown Los Angeles. He is the 4th youngest sibling of 5, and the 3rd male. He also is the first to graduate from college, and second to graduate from High School in his family.

Mr. Rubin’s cultural heritage is intriguing. His mother was born in Puebla, Mexico and his father was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala. An interesting fact is that his grandfather, on his dads side, was Jewish.

He attended 2nd Street Elementary School, Hollenbeck Middle School, and Theodore Roosevelt: Math, Science, and Technology Magnet High School. He attended Chapman University in Orange, CA and graduated with a B.A. in Communication Studies and Art Minor.

He loves art, travel, and exploring new cuisines! He also enjoys cooking. One of his passions is Photography.

Some future goals include, traveling to Tokyo, Japan, showing at a gallery, and earning his M.F.A. from Parsons School of Design in New York City.
